Arashiyama Bamboo Grove

A natural bamboo forest in the Arashiyama district of western Kyoto, with paths between tall bamboo stems. It lies near Tenryū-ji temple and Nonomiya Shrine and is listed by the Ministry of the Environment among the soundscapes of Japan.
