Castle Hill (Colline du Château)
France
A hill above the bay where the citadel of Nice stood from the 11th to the 18th century until it was demolished in 1706 on the orders of Louis XIV. Today it is the city's best-known park, with views over the harbour, the old town and the Promenade des Anglais.
