Warsaw Zoo
Animal Trail
The zoo in Praga, opened in 1928 and named after Antonina and Jan Żabiński. During the war the Żabińskis, who lived on the zoo grounds, helped Jews here, and their story is told in the film The Zookeeper's Wife. Their villa now houses an exhibition about those events.
