The Łódź zoo in Zdrowie Park, founded in 1938 and rebuilt in 2022. At its heart is the Orientarium, a modern complex devoted to the wildlife of Southeast Asia. Some species, such as Sumatran orangutans, can be seen nowhere else in Poland.
