European Bison Show Reserve in Białowieża

A show reserve in the Białowieża Forest, by the road from Białowieża to Hajnówka. In 1929 the first bison were brought here, starting the restoration of a species that had died out in the wild. Other forest animals live in the enclosures too, including lynx, elk and red deer.
