The largest animal shelter in Warsaw, on Paluch Street in the Włochy district, named after Jan Lityński. Every animal that arrives is examined and microchipped. In 2010-2011 nearly 2,400 dogs and cats lived here, and thanks to adoptions there are fewer and fewer.
