The Giraffe in Silesian Park
Animal Trail
A reinforced concrete giraffe on three legs, over 16 metres tall, cast in 1959 and a symbol of Silesian Park. It stands by one of the main entrances and invites visitors to the zoo, and Giraffe Avenue, which leads there, is named after it.
