It is a quiet, small place of remembrance, worth visiting on a walk to the church.
History
War Cemetery No. 393 lies in Nowa Huta, in the former village of Górka Kościelnicka, on the north-west side of the historic wooden Church of All Saints. Buried here are 42 Austro-Hungarian soldiers, 27 of whom are known by name. They fell on 17-20 December 1914. The cemetery was designed by Hans Mayr. It is a separate part of the larger Górka Kościelnicka parish cemetery. That cemetery was founded in 1820, after the old churchyard was closed, for the parish of All Saints: the dead of Węgrzynowice, Kościelniki, Cło and Wolica were buried in it.
