History

Zielony Jar Wandy Park lies in the Wzgórza Krzesławickie district, in a natural ravine between the Na Stoku and Na Wzgórzach estates. For many years it was wasteland, which was developed for the everyday recreation of local residents. The park covers more than 5 ha and also includes a clump of trees that locals call Krzesławice Wood.

Because it lies in a hollow, the park is partly sheltered from the surrounding buildings. There is a playground, a multi-purpose pitch, table tennis tables, a paddling pool for toddlers and an amphitheatre with a bandshell, and the paths are asphalted.

Did you know?

The park's greatest natural asset is its surviving old trees, dominated by magnificent oaks. They provide a habitat for many species of birds and small animals.
