History
Białucha River Park covers 8.03 ha and stretches along the Białucha river in Prądnik Biały, around Czerwona, Celarowska and Wileńska Streets. The riverside promenade is complemented by two sports pitches, the larger of which has stands, an outdoor gym, chess tables, benches and loungers overlooking the river. Pergolas, wooden screens and picnic tables have been placed along the route, and nesting boxes have been put up for birds. Two playgrounds have been built; the second reflects the riverside character of the place, and its stars are a stork and a frog.
Did you know?
Not far from the park is the Kraków Residents' Oak Garden. Its main feature is a huge oak protected as a natural monument.
