History
Reduta Park covers 7.8 ha and lies in Prądnik Czerwony, by the Sudół Dominikański stream. At its centre stands Redoubt IS-V-6 from 1887, part of the 5th fortified area of the Kraków Fortress; when the park was built, a concrete path was laid around it and its surroundings were tidied up. The park concept was drawn up in 2015-2016 with local residents, and in an online vote the "Secret Garden" idea was chosen. Construction began in June 2018 and took just over a year, and the official opening was on 31 August 2019. The design is by Marek Sanecki of the JWMS studio. The park has a pavilion with a viewing terrace on the roof, a space for an open-air summer cinema, an orchard, flower meadows and Kraków's first multi-level playground.

The retaining walls between the levels of the playground are decorated with drawings of creatures from Slavic folklore, and its fence is made of living willow stakes that have taken root and grow as a living hedge.
