Park type: standard. In this park you can collect a stamp in the "Explorer of Kraków's Parks" campaign run by Kraków's Municipal Greenery Authority (ZZM).
History
Woźniców Park is about a hectare of greenery in the Czyżyny district, at 11a Sołtysowska Street. The first stage of development brought a playground and an outdoor gym, funded from the participatory budget. In the following years, also from the participatory budget, new footpaths, a pumptrack and boules courts were added.
In 2022 a concept for further development was drawn up: a linear park with a naturalistic, wild-grown character, with educational, entertainment, sports and relaxation features.
Did you know?
In the future the park is to link the Nowa Huta Meadows with Lotników Park through a green corridor, connecting the two largest green areas in the north-eastern part of the city. Even now it serves as a migration corridor for wildlife and a ventilation corridor between the new housing estates.
