History
The Aristocrat Dragon is one of the dragon sculptures on Kraków's Dragon Trail, a route of small dragons that came about on the initiative of residents and was voted through in the Participatory Budget. According to the list of sculptures, it stands on the campus of the Kraków University of Economics, and its creator is Jan Tutaj. The figure dates from 2025. Tutaj, together with Jacek Dudek of the Faculty of Sculpture at the Kraków Academy of Fine Arts, also supervised the making of the trail's first dragons.
Did you know?
The first figures on the Dragon Trail were designed by the Kraków artists Andrzej Mleczko and Edward Lutczyn. The new dragons joined the Wawel Dragon statue.
