The film-maker dragon stands by the entrance to the Kijów cinema.
History
The Filmmaker Dragon has set up its camera by the wall of the "Kijów" cinema, at 34 Krasińskiego Avenue. The building opened in 1967. For several decades the cinema drew crowds to new releases from Poland and around the world, and there were often more viewers than seats in the auditorium. It also stood out for its décor: at the entrance guests were greeted by a 400 m2 mosaic inspired by outer space. Through the glazed façade it could be seen from the street, as could the guests sitting in the café on the mezzanine. Besides films, plays and concerts were also held here.

The Filmmaker Dragon was one of the first seven dragons of the Dragon Trail, placed in different parts of Kraków at the end of November.
