Park type: historic. In this park you can collect a stamp in the "Explorer of Kraków's Parks" campaign run by Kraków's Municipal Greenery Authority (ZZM).
History
Kleparski Park surrounds the Kleparz fort, which has survived in an almost original state. It covers about 3.35 ha between Prądnicka Street and Kamienna Street, Słowackiego Avenue and the railway goods station, next to the Montelupich prison. It is a well-kept, wooded area. Nesting boxes have been hung on the trees, so it is a good place for birdwatching. The park also has a playground, a skatepark and a dog run.
