History
Millennium Park (Park Tysiąclecia) was laid out on the Tysiąclecia estate at the same time as Mistrzejowice was being built, in the late 1970s and early 1980s. It was created in a natural hollow where, because of the lie of the land, neither housing nor service buildings could be put up. The fountain was built while the park was being created, following the carefully prepared architectural and urban plans for the estate. In 2019-2020 the park was revitalised: the paths were modernised, the lighting replaced, new benches, deckchairs and chess tables appeared, and the fountain was thoroughly renovated. The park also has an amphitheatre, a playground and two sledging hills.
