Park type: woodland. In this park you can collect a stamp in the "Explorer of Kraków's Parks" campaign run by Kraków's Municipal Greenery Authority (ZZM).
History
The northern part of Aleksandry Park lies on Erazma Jerzmanowskiego Street and covers about 6 ha. In 2017 the Municipal Greenery Authority and the Kraków University of Technology announced a competition for a design for its development. After the redevelopment the site has kept the character of a woodland park. Because the area is an ecological corridor and a refuge for animals, biocoenotic zones were marked out in it, that is green enclaves that support biodiversity. Paths, outdoor steps and footbridges were laid out, benches, loungers and hammocks were installed, and the trees planted include pedunculate oaks, willows, rowans and alders. The whole project cost 6.1 million złoty.
