History
Rżąka Park covers 3.74 ha and lies in the Bieżanów-Prokocim district, on the Rżąka estate. Construction of the estate began in 1987, and the park runs through it on a west-east axis, between the grounds of the University Hospital and Ludwika Rydygiera and Wielicka Streets. At the centre of the park is a pond, around which its other features are grouped, and residents can use a playground and a multi-purpose sports pitch. In 2017 the park's greenery was supplemented as part of the "Kraków Flower Meadows" project, with several dozen plant species and various kinds of grasses planted.
